Founded in 1715, Martell is the oldest of the great cognac houses, drawing on 300 years of savoir-faire to transform grapes from the Charente region into exceptionally pure eaux-de-vie using a traditional double-distillation method. Together with a passion for its craft and a profound attachment to the terroir, Maison Martell is defined by the audacity with which it has challenged convention to create new expressions of cognac, including the icon Martell Cordon Bleu in 1912.

Maison Martell is alone among the great cognac houses to distill exclusively clear wines, from which all the lees have been removed. This specificity results in the generous, authentic fruit aromas of Martell VS. A cognac remarkably smooth, elegant, with a great aromatic richness.

Here, we have a unique cognac in the XO category, Martell Cordon Bleu is endowed with beautiful complexity and rich aromas, making it a legendary cognac. Its high proportion of Borderies marks this blend, expanding on its caramelized character with the smoothness of sweet spices, gingerbread and roasted cocoa beans.
