Since its early days, in 1883, Bodega Trapiche has received worldwide recognition for its relentless quest for innovation. Our full understanding of the land as our most valuable asset, combined with state-of-the-art technology to venture into otherwise unchartered territory, have turned Trapiche into a winery that is constantly challenging what is allegedly known. The winery pioneered innovations such as the introduction of French varieties, the use of French oak barrels and the production of micro-terroir wines.
The relentless determination to achieve the highest standards in the world of winemaking has resulted in Trapiche’s worldwide recognition on countless opportunities. Trapiche was distinguished as “The Most Awarded Argentine Winery” by the WRW&S for the fourth year in a row, was selected by the prestigious English publication ‘Drinks International’ among the “50 Most Admired Wine Brands”, becoming the only Argentine winery to obtain 5 of this selections (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 & 2019) and was awarded by Wine Enthusiast as “The New World Winery of the Year” in 2019.
Trapiche Torrontes
Yellow-greenish color, with golden hints. It offers up fragrant Muscat and tropical fruits aromas. Fresh and elegant in the palate. Ideal as an aperitif and paired with shellfish, sushi and spicy food.
Trapiche Vineyards Chardonnay
Brilliant yellow in color with green hues, this dry Chardonnay abounds in aromas of red apples and mature pineapples. Its fresh acidity provides a soft, yet long lasting finish. Ideal to serve with all types of seafood, light meals with vegetables and pasta with soft sauces.
Trapiche Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc
Brilliant, clear yellow color with lemon-green hues. Fresh aromas of grapefruit and asparagus. Dry taste and pleasant acidity. Ideal as an aperitif. Combines beautifully with smoked or sauced fish, cheeses and vegetables. It also pairs well with gratins and white meats.
Trapiche Vineyards Malbec
A rich, red-colored wine with violet hues, redolent of plums and cherries. Round in the mouth with a touch of truffle and vanilla. The ideal wine for grilled meat. It also combines very well with pasta, mild to spicy cuisine and semi-hard cheeses such as Gouda, Edam or Gruyere.
Trapiche Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
Noble wine of a bright red color. Aromas of black fruit and spices. Soft and balanced on the palate, with a pleasant, long-lasting tannic sensation. Serve with grilled red meats, steamed vegetables and semi-hard cheeses (gouda, gruyere, edam).
Trapiche Broquel Malbec
Intense purple red color with ruby hues. Aromas of fresh red and black fruits, floral notes, earthy minerals, with an elegant touch of smoke. Rich and spicy on the palate providing a long and pleasant finish. Ideal to combine with grilled red meats, stews, pasta with mushroom sauce and cheeses.
Trapiche SV Ambrosia Malbec
A Malbec of deep red color with ruby hues. Intense aromas of dark fruit with notes of smoke, mint, spices, thyme, graphite, and licorice. In the mouth, it is fruity and minerally with gripping tannins and a lingering finish.
Trapiche SV Orellana Malbec
A Malbec of deep red-garnet color displaying aromas of red fruit such as morello cherries, and intense balsamic notes reminiscent of mint and fresh herbs. Sweet and ample as it enters the mouth with great fruit concentration and ripe, soft tannins. Long, lingering, and elegant finish.
Trapiche Gran Medalla Malbec
The Trapiche 2011 Gran Medalla Malbec is sourced from Los Arboles in the Uco Valley. Dark, purple red in color, this Malbec delivers a bouquet of black cherry, plums, lavender, raspberry and spices marked out by a mineral character. Fresh and ample on the palate, smooth textured, with spicy notes and an elegant personality.
Trapiche Manos Malbec
Trapiche Manos is a wine from Uco Valley, a perfect region for growing Malbec. After being handpicked into small bins, the grapes are gently selected and destemmed, one berry at a time. Following the stages of fermentation and maceration with natural yeasts in oak vessels, the wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels, to further continue aging in the bottle for 24 months in an underground cellar. Trapiche Manos pays homage to our people’s hands, sus manos, quintessential protagonists in the crafting of this extraordinary wine.
