It is the main wine producer in the department, supplying more than 25% of the volume of Chablis production. Chablis white wine is a significant part of Burgundy wine region.
La Chablisienne Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons
Pale gold in colour, a limpid and brilliant wine. Initially restrained on the nose, fine and elegant with delicately spiced fresh fruit. Becomes more intense on aeration. Long-lasting. Fresh in the mouth with fleshy white fruits and fine minerality.
La Chablisienne Chablis Grand Cru Valmur
The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity: crisp and taut, refined and elegant, gently building toward a delicately spiced, quite nuanced finish.
La Chablisienne Petit Chablis Vibrant
Pale gold in colour with silvery highlights, limpid and brilliant. Very expressive on the nose with notes of ripe fruit (apricot) and a more mineral base with hints of “gunflint”. On the palate, the attack is lively and fresh, revealing a lovely juicy wine with good density. Elegant and uncomplicated. Food pairings: aperitif, shellfish plancha (prawns).
La Chablisienne Chablis La Sereine
Pale yellow in colour, brilliant. Expressive on the nose with a nice concentration of aromas. The first is woody with brioche and vanilla notes, then citrus aromas appear. Well balanced in the mouth, fruity notes (exotic fruits) bring a fullness. The whole is elegant and lively.
La Chablisienne Chablis Grand Cru Grenouilles
This single estate, known as a Monopole, belongs to one owner, rather than several growers, and produces a tiny grape harvest from old vines grown on ancient terroir. Aged for two years in oak barrels, this is a wine of fabulous complexity & intensity with a lively fresh mineral character. Serve lightly chilled either as an aperitif or with fish, seafood and white meats.
